The North Trent Street Forcemain and Gravity Sewer Upgrade project generally involves the installation of a new sanitary forcemain and the replacement and upgrading of existing gravity sewer infrastructure on North Trent St. and Huffman Road in the village of Frankford, in the City of Quinte West. The scope includes installation and commissioning of new linear infrastructure, and completion of all associated road, surface, and site restorations as required.

The scope of work consists of the following main items:

• Installation and commissioning of new linear infrastructure:
• New, 500 mm I.D., 465 m long sanitary forcemain from the contract limits at Trent St. SPS to Frankford WWTP
• New, 525 mm I.D., 130 m long sanitary gravity sewer
• New, 450 mm I.D., 525 m long sanitary gravity sewer
• New, 375 mm I.D., 345 m long sanitary gravity sewer
• New, 250 mm I.D., 5 m long sanitary gravity sewer
• New, 200 mm I.D., 10 m long sanitary gravity sewer
• New, 450m long fibre optic conduit installation
• Reconnection of sanitary services
• Road allowance restoration
  • Repaving of an approximately 665 m long section of North Trent Street including road base restoration as necessary.
  • Repaving of an approximately 95 m long section of Huffman Road including road base restoration as necessary.
  • Sidewalk, curb and boulevard restoration
  • Restoration of driveways
• Site work at Trent St. Sewage Pumping Station and Frankford Wastewater Treatment Plant including paving of asphalt driveways

Commencement of work will be on or before June 22, 2026 and with substantial completion by October 30, 2026 and with final completion on or before November 20, 2026.
