The City of Quinte West is situated on the shores of the beautiful Bay of Quinte serving as the gateway to the world famous Trent Severn Waterway, and is just 90 minutes east of Toronto on Highway 401. Quinte West was formed
through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Trenton, Sidney, Murray and Frankford.  Located on Mount Pelion in the Trenton Ward of the City of Quinte West is a decommissioned  water tower primarily used to house
telecommunication devices.  The work involved under this tender call includes but is not necessarily limited to all labour, equipment, materials and supplies necessary for the demolition and removal of the existing tower, construction of a new communications tower and moving of existing appurtenances from the existing water tower to the new communications tower.  Mount Pelion is a drumlin with a peak elevation of 191 feet above the Bay of Quinte
