The work items include: traffic control, stream protection, dewatering, earth excavation for road and culvert systems, full and partial depth asphalt removal, steel beam guide rail removal, existing culvert system removal, concrete curb and gutter installation, catch basin installation, headwall installation (concrete, reinforcing steel, finishing), installation of Precast Concrete R.S.S. Wall Panels, installation of new Polymer Coated Structure Plate CSPA culverts, installation of Metal Traffic/Pedestrian Barriers topsoil and seeding, supply and placement of Type II Limestone Granular A & B for roadway construction and culvert replacement. Bidders are to be aware that Enbridge Gas will be on site prior to construction start for a Gas Main Relocation to allow for the culvert replacement. Once this work is completed the main contract work for this project may commence. Commencement of work will be after June 30, 2026, pending the Gas Main relocation, and in-water work must be completed prior to September 30, 2026, and substantial completion shall be on or before October 23, 2026 with final completion on or before November 13, 2026.
