Scope of Work The proponent will be responsible for the general construction of a pH Control System at the Bayside Water Treatment Plant. The work generally consists of retrofitting an existing ozone room to accommodate the installation of two (2) bulk chemical storage tanks complete with spill containment, the installation of chemical dosing skid and feed pumps and associated injection dosing piping, installation of a chemical fill station.. Building structural, mechanical, HVAC and electrical upgrades specified in the Technical Specifications to be negotiated with the City. The proponent shall also provide pricing as part of the Provisional scope of work to replace the existing travelling submerged sludge collection system with a new specified sludge collection system. For purposes of planning, the proponent can assume that one sedimentation tank can be offline at a time for retrofit. Refer to contract specifications and drawings for further details. Schedule The project completion shall not exceed six (6) months from the time of contract execution. In the event equipment lead time prevents the Proponent from reasonably meeting this deadline, the project completion date shall be negotiated based on documented estimated lead times for affected equipment. |
