The City is now accepting quotations from qualified Contractors for Road Reconstruction. The work involves the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials for completing the rehabilitation of the following roads:
The work items generally include: traffic control; full depth pulverizing or milling of the existing asphalt surface to the limits shown on the Contract Drawings; road base excavation; removal and replacement of concrete & asphalt curb; ditching improvements; structure adjustments; grading of existing road base in preparation of new asphalt including the supply and placement of granular material as indicated; hot mix asphalt paving; culvert replacement; guide rail replacement; and line painting. Commencement of work will be May 11, 2026 and with substantial completion on or before October 30, 2026 with final completion on or before November 13, 2026.
