A concern with respect to shoreline development impacts, possible contamination as a result of poor agricultural practices and a need to protect water quality has resulted in the City of Quinte West in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Climate (MOECC) and the Lower Trent Region Conservation Authority (LTRCA) to undertake a water quality evaluation of Oak Lake. In this regard the City is requesting proposals from qualified firms to undertake a four season water quality assessment study for Oak Lake. The final report shall be submitted to the City by June 01, 2019 |
