Description:  The proposed Skate Park is to be located in the Frankford Tourist Park. The Frankford Skate Park initiative is guided by a special committee made up of a number of volunteers and members of Council, who have been designated as a sub-committee of the Public Work & Environmental Services Dept. of the City of Quinte West.  They will be referred to as the “Steering Committee” throughout this document.  Their mandate is to raise funds to develop a skate park in the Frankford
Ward that can provide enjoyment, fun and active play, and encourage physical fitness for all ages. The committee is hopeful that they will have sufficient funds available to commence construction during the summer of 2016
