The City of Quinte West and the City of Belleville (the Cities) seek Contracts that encompass the provision of all labour, equipment and materials necessary for the curbside collection and haulage of solid waste and organic waste from residential properties and from various Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (IC&I) properties within the specified collection area(s), to a transfer site and/ or disposal site to be determined by the Respondent. These Contracts also encompass disposal of solid waste at the Respondent’s site or a stipulated site; and delivery and processing of organic waste to an approved organics processing site. The awarding of the Contract is conditional on the Cities being satisfied that all government and other approvals are in place, which condition is inserted for the sole benefit of the Cities.

Services established under this contract will take effect August 1, 2027.

Note - this contract does not include services for Hazardous Waste. The City of Belleville will be issuing a separate solicitation for those services shortly.
