The work involves the supply of all labour, equipment and materials for the resurfacing/reconstruction of Highway #2 from 282 Dundas Street East to the intersection of Highway #2 and Quinte view Drive in the City of Quinte West, Trenton Ward. The work items includes but are not limited to, rock excavation, the supply and installation of 2680m of new DR18 PVC or an option of Bionax PVCO watermain, two Jack and Bore Operations under existing utilities or creek crossing and two Pipe Ramming Operations. Asphalt removal, curb and sidewalk removal as required, road base excavation, supply and placement of ranular A, hot mix asphalt paving, new concrete curb, paved pathway, adjusting existing frames and grates, manhole covers and water valves. Associated works include, but are not limited to, excavation, traffic control, pavement markings, topsoil, seed/sod and mulch. |
